Director (Investment Administration)

North Bay / Marin County - CA

Fund administration firm seeks a Director to manage a team of employees
performing investment administration for a growing client portfolio in the
non-traded alternative investment space. The firm provides Transfer
Agent/Sales and Marketing Reporting/Tax & Accounting/Printing & Fulfillment
and consulting services.

Monitor/prioritize department workload and review large financial
disbursements/client correspondence/billing
Establish procedures/ensure process documentation is kept up to date
Implement/manage new hire training/team building/cross training program
Work directly with upper level management in support of business
development/client retention efforts
Work with programmers to develop system enhancements to keep up with client

4 years management experience and 2+ years? experience with fund
Familiarity with SEC Regulation or direct work experience in the area of
financial services compliance
Fund accounting experience a significant plus
Strong working knowledge with the investment fund life cycle
Knowledge in fund administration services including subscription
agreements/commissions/distributions/title transfers/redemptions/bank
reconciliations in accordance with SEC Regulations
Strong client relationship management skills
Strong communication skills, with ability to effectively communicate across
multiple departments/technical teams
Ability to learn quickly/multi-task/meet deadlines/adapt to change
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook and have strong technical
Ability to take ownership of tasks/job functions to meet client?s
