Description:
SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: Federal Credit Union seeks a Manager, Financial
Services who will provide a consultative approach to members and effectively
recommend financial products and service order while building relationships.
Establish/retain/expand mutually beneficial relationships with members;
ensure management of delivery exceeds members? expectations
Maintain audit/process/compliance standards that safeguard credit union
assets
Supervise team of four (One remote)
Recommend improvements in sales/service strategies based on market
research/competitor analyses
Meet with current/potential members to conduct interviews in determining
deposit/lending needs
Consistently achieve retail sales/service goals and adhere to operational
performance standards
Assist Sales/Service Coordinators in hiring/developing/evaluating Sales
staff
Strengthen relationships by identifying opportunities with members and
referring to appropriate department
Cross sell credit unions services
Facilitate and participate in sales skills practice/coaching sessions
Facilitate new account set up; verify membership eligibility
Check background and security via CHEX systems/Ofac/credit report
Order necessary member items: Checks, ATM or Debit Card and distribute
proper disclosures to member
Analyze loan applications/credit bureau reports for additional opportunities
Participate in loan origination/booking in coordination with lending
department/member
Continue to build relationships by following up with new/existing members
for additional sales opportunities
Daily reporting of sales activity to goals for Senior Leadership
Support development activities as needed, including follow up calls from
events, participating in off site visits and account openings
Participate and/or facilitate in product knowledge training program
Actively verify and update member data

REQUIREMENTS: BA/BS Degree
10 years of business experience; 5+ in financial sales role; 3-5 years of
Supervisory experience
PC Skills (MS Suite) a must
Excellent presentation skills, verbal/written communication skills, life-
long love of learning
