Business Development Associate (270-8)
COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience
SUMMARY: Global institutional asset management firm seeks a qualified
internal sales professional; the primary responsibility will be to provide
internal support for sales managers in the field as they develop and
maintain client relationships. Target firms include registered investment
advisors, family offices, institutional consultants, and private bank
platforms throughout the United States. This role offers long-term potential
to develop into an external role.
Develop an understanding of firm?s investment philosophy/process/core
Maintain integrity of the CRM by establishing a process around record
Help identify/research prospects while following the strategic direction of
Provide assistance in responding to client inquiries and support to the
external salespersons for scheduling/coordinating meetings
Collaborate with other teams within the firm (sales/marketing/client
2-3 years of internal sales or client management experience in the asset
Bachelor?s degree in Economics/Finance/Marketing
Series 7 and Series 63 (firm will support if not licensed)
Progress towards, or interest in pursuing CFA designation
Demonstrated communication and presentations skills
Ability to work independently while supporting group initiatives
Familiarity with Salesforce preferred
