Description:
SUMMARY/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Independent RIA is seeking an experienced client relationship manager to
lead their service program for corporate retirement plan accounts. The
selected candidate will develop and maintain a thorough understanding of
401(k) & other retirement plans as well as the firm?s own products and
services to help clients manage their retirement plans effectively. The
candidate must deliver exceptional service by taking ownership of client
issues, and providing consultative solutions concerning plan design,
compliance, administration, investments, fiduciary support, governance and
employee education services in collaboration with the client services team.
Responsibilities include:
Coordination of on-boarding new clients, sourcing new business opportunities
through existing relationships, and providing ongoing service to already
existing clients
Expertise in all facets of retirement plan support, including: compliance,
administration, plan design, investments, fiduciary support, governance and
employee education services
Strong presentation skills for client meetings and sales finals
participation
Client relationship management skills ? communication of status, progress,
and open items
Consistently deliver a high level of proactive client service in a
professional manner
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our business, products and
services
Identify new business development opportunities and support the sales team
in their efforts to attain more business
Ability to work across company teams to develop and implement pension plans
and support cross team sales and client service activities
Ability to organize work and follow up in a timely manner
Provide thorough high quality research, problem solving and issue resolution
Achieve individual and team goals for service levels, growth and retention
for assigned book of business
Prioritize activities and manage time to effectively and efficiently provide
quality client service
Produce, analyze, and distribute reporting on a regular basis to achieve
individual and team goals

REQUIREMENTS:
5 years plus direct client management experience in financial services
preferred
Bachelors or advanced degree
Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced service environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
Ability to work well under pressure with multiple priorities and deadlines
Sound business judgment in determining what issues need to be prioritized or
elevated to appropriate level of authority
Pension or investment designations helpful, but not required
