Description:
Management Consulting Firm seeks Senior Manager and Manager level hires for
their Partnerships practice, which helps companies create payment/lending
industry alliances and structure partnership agreements. Will be exposed to
all aspects of the partnerships lifecycle, and will be responsible for
supporting delivery of client engagements, developing new business,
maintaining practice management documents/processes, and research/analysis
of thought leadership pieces.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver consulting assignments for clients as part of small project teams
Apply subject matter expertise in support of client projects; take direction
from senior colleagues and provide guidance to junior associates
Write/create PowerPoint, Excel and Word presentations/project documents
Develop/update/maintain market data tracking tools, pipeline reports and
prospect lists
Support practice business development efforts through research and
information gathering about relevant companies/industries, targeted
marketing campaigns, warm- and cold-calling to identify appropriate
contacts, proposal and client presentation development
Participate in meetings with and presentations to clients/external industry
players to develop new business, build relationships, and keep up with
industry trends
Help to develop/disseminate industry thought leadership relevant to the
Partnerships space
Perform other functions as required/directed

REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of corporate work experience; 3+ years of experience in the cards
and payments industry (organizations issuing credit, debit, private label or
prepaid cards)
College degree or equivalent experience
Subject matter expertise in relevant technical discipline such as marketing
strategy/analytics, product management/product development, cards finance
Strong written/verbal communication skills
Good organizational skills and ability to multi-task/prioritize
Strong interpersonal skills, able to build friendly and effective working
relationships easily
Experience in attending/participating in meetings with corporate executives
Collaborative, team-oriented work style; Strong customer centric attitude
Experience in developing new business opportunities and negotiating
partnerships/contracts/relevant transactions
Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical capabilities
PowerPoint and Word skills to create presentations that effectively
communicate complicated concepts/proposals using diagrams and tables to
express and support the written content
Knowledge and facility with Excel, including ability to build basic
financial models and data tracking workbooks
An interest in and ability to conduct effective desktop and telephone
research as well as other forms of data gathering
