Sales (Fee-Only Wealth Management) (1171-1)

Pioneering fee-only wealth management firm ($1B+ AUM) seeks an
entrepreneurial sales professional who will be the firm’s first dedicated
salesperson after years of steady organic and word of mouth growth. This
individual will develop new and lasting relationships and possess the
skills/contacts to bring in accounts of $1M+. Will have total ownership of
the sales cycle from initiation to closing and must be a results-driven,
highly motivated self-starter interested in building a sales function from
the ground up.
Identify sales opportunities and convert prospects into clients through a
variety of sources:
-Leverage existing HNW relationships to yield qualified client prospects
-Target “Centers of Influence” through professional associations, industry
events, and leverage these COIs to refer potential clients
-Via relationships with Corporate Executives/HR/Office of the CFO, secure
status as a Wealth Management provider for target firm employees
-Develop relationships with networks of
-Explore new avenues of developing next generation clients
Create/build/manage a sales pipeline--manage multiple prospects with clear
understanding of key decision makers/sales metrics and work to continuously
Report activities/results on a continuous basis
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Minimum of 7 years’ experience, preferably in Wealth Management
Proficiency with sales tools (CRM, Outlook, Word, etc.) including on remote
Existing relationships with viable “Centers of Influence” with demonstrated
track record of success leveraging these relationships
Strong desire and demonstrated ability to pursue new business opportunities
Excellent communication skills; well-honed presentation and negotiation
Ability to gain respect/trust from a broad group of constituents including
corporate executives/financial intermediaries/trusted advisors/etc.
Demonstrated track record in prospect engagement/pipeline management/sales
