Senior Wealth Advisor (1082-11)

Houston, TX

Fee-only registered investment advisor specializing in retirement planning
for corporate executives and high net worth individuals seeks a Senior
Wealth Advisor to manage an existing book of business totaling $200 million
in client relationships. As main point of contact, will actively communicate
with clients on a daily basis, providing advice on cash flows/tax planning
strategies, estate/insurance issues, identify investment goals/retirement
planning needs and implement recommendations with assistance of support

Serve as relationship management point of contact for 100 clients in Houston
Develop knowledge of clientsí financial/personal situation and discuss
structured financial plans
Provide advice on investment management/cash flows/retirement planning
Proactively communicate with clients on the implementation of given advice
Assist in updating/maintaining financial plan
Meet with prospective clients in the area and present firmís recommendations
with assistance of marketing team
Promote firmís value proposition and encourage referrals from existing
Coordinate and edit firm communication; assist sales team in development of
ultra-high net worth marketing plan
Possible sales support in out-of-state offices (no more than two business
Provide support to external Sales Advisors throughout sales process

Bachelorís degree required; preferably with concentration in Finance,
Accounting, Financial Planning, or Business
10+ years of professional experience with track record of
building/maintaining client relationships
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation highly preferred
Graduate degree or professional designations (ChFC, CFA, or CPA) a plus
If not currently held, must obtain mandatory industry licensure (Series 65)
within 6 months of hire and begin working towards professional designation
(CFP, CFA, CPA) within 12 months of hire
