Description:
Generous six-figure base salary + bonus

Fee-only registered investment advisor with over $1 billion in AUM seeks a
Wealth Advisor, who will be responsible for managing client relationships by
identifying their investment goals and retirement planning needs and
implementing your recommendations with the assistance of support staff. As
the clientsí main point of contact with the firm, you will actively
communicate with clients on a daily basis, providing advice on cash flows
and tax planning strategies, as well as estate and insurance issues. There
are no sales responsibilities with this role and an incoming Wealth Advisor
will be given an existing book of business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as relationship management point of contact for 100 clients in Chicago
office
Develop knowledge of clientsí financial/personal situation and discuss
structured financial plans
Provide advice on investment management/cash flows/retirement planning
strategies
Proactively communicate with clients on the implementation of given advice
Assist in updating/maintaining financial plan
Meet with prospective clients in the area and present firmís recommendations
with assistance of marketing team
Promote firmís value proposition and encourage referrals from existing
clients
Provide support to external Sales Advisors throughout sales process
Ability to discuss market trends and portfolio performance
Present clients with their financial plans and other materials
Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
needed

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelorís degree required; preferably with concentration in Finance,
Accounting, Financial Planning, or Business
7+ years of professional experience with track record of
building/maintaining client relationships
Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation required
Graduate degree or professional designations (ChFC, CFA or CPA) a plus
If not currently held, must obtain mandatory industry licensure (Series 65
or Series 66) within 6 months of hire
