Indianapolis, IN

Industry-leading investment management company is seeking a RIA Internal
Wholesaler on their Internal Sales and Support team. This person will
partner directly with an external wholesaler to develop and execute a
strategic sales strategy for a multi-state U.S. territory to develop,
retain, and manage RIAs, Consultants and Bank Trusts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by making proactive
phone calls to Registered Investment Advisors and prospects to uncover and
develop unique opportunities through probing and research
Focus on building relationships with RIAs by sharing firms insight and
culture, investment policies, and product information
Gather business intelligence and offer sales support
Assist RIAs in developing portfolios and provides ideas for effective
practice management
Shares investment ideas, investment education and product information with
clients and prospects
Leverage marketing materials and campaigns to target specific clients and
prospects for sales opportunity development
Identify cross-selling and prospecting opportunities through research in
internal and external databases and company websites
Monitor external calendars, anticipate information needed in meetings, and
assist with preparation of information for meetings
Proactively identify clients-at-risk, help determine a client retention plan
and works with external wholesaler to execute on that plan

REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years related industry experience working with intermediaries or previous
client service experience
Knowledge of RIA market
Demonstrate high degrees of initiative in identifying
challenges/opportunities and recommending solutions
Strong communication and analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of associates and
clients
Ability to lead and influence others
FINRA Series 6, Series 63 and/or Series 7
Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
Bachelors degree preferred
