Participate in developing/implementing a strategic plan supporting the
organization’s vision/goals; translate the strategic plan to staff to ensure
support; modify the plan in response to changing internal/external factors
Participate with President and leadership team in setting
policies/determining strategies
Analyze current/future trends and needs; accurately assesses functional
responsibilities, competitive strengths, and vulnerabilities
Maximize system efficiency/capabilities; identify opportunities for new
value creation
Build/maintain departmental structure/operating standards/practices that are
responsive/adaptable to evolving business needs
Develop/implement a talent plan to ensure right people are in the right
place at the right time to meet strategic needs of the organization
Establish/coordinate an adequate structure for delivery of
effective/efficient administrative operations (finance, operations, IT)
Participate in formulating/administering/enforcing company policies
Motivate/lead high-performance management team; attract/retain qualified
team members; provide mentoring/career development

20+ years’ financial industry experience preferred
Minimum 3+ years’ management experience
FINRA Series 7, Series 24, Series 63, Series 66, Series 53, Series 55
Strong business knowledge and experience with ability to provide reports and
analysis of financial position/forecasts, develop and implement strategic
plans given the larger picture
Knowledge of principles/practices of modern management and
administration/governmental policy/financial analysis/project
management/personnel management
Ability to develop business processes and manage projects
Skill in planning/organizing/directing/coordinating wide variety of
activities, developing/implementing/communicating policies and procedures
for large organization, implementing fiscal management policies, analyzing
data, making sound recommendations and adopting effective courses of action,
working persuasively/tactfully with supervisors and line staff, supervision
of specialized professional staff, communicating effectively both in oral
and written form
