Title:
VP, Regional Marketing Manager/External Wholesaler (1094-201)

Description:
Vice President, Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) will provide field sales
coverage within the specified territory to various intermediary clients in
the retirement and advisor marketplace, with an emphasis on broker dealer
advisors. It is expected that the VP, RMM will spend no less than 80% of
their time out in the field. The VP, RMM will represent the firm in this
territory offering their mutual funds, separately managed accounts and other
products

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop new, and build upon existing relationships within the territory. The
strategy includes developing a firm/branch rotation, implementing business
plans around focus firms and identifying business opportunities
Grow firm’s market share within the territory
Work in conjunction with the Regional Marketing Associate to develop a plan
to generate greater sales, higher asset levels and improved client service
Can thoroughly communicate and understand company’s product philosophy,
process, objectives and positioning
Adherence to all compliance guidelines including use of pre-approved
marketing materials, fund prospectus requirements and proper licensing
Fulfill in a timely manner required administrative/team responsibilities
such as CRM/Call reporting, expense reports, conference calls and meetings

REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience
required
8 or more years of investment, financial services experience
FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 or Series 66
Must live in either Colorado (preferred), Arizona, Nebraska or Utah within
close proximity of an international airport
Proven results and demonstrated sustainable achievement in a financial sales
environment
Ability to demonstrate industry and product knowledge by understanding the
competition, the client and marketplace
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal colleagues
and external partners
Personal leadership skills, self-motivated ability to work independently in
a remote location
Excellent relationship building and sales skills
Strong organizational skills
Willing to travel up to 80% of the time
Ability to grow, develop and maintain working relationships with advisors
Create and maintain working relationships with district directors, managers,
coordinators, and other key “gate keepers” within the territory
Experience with CRM system is required, Salesforce.com preferred
