Independent, fee-only registered investment advisor/wealth management firm has opportunity for a
Business Development Officer to help expand the firmís presence in the Tampa Bay area. The right
candidate: sharp, driven, creative, optimistic, well-connected, great with people, talented at cultivating
relationships and a natural influencer. Will be responsible for growing firmís client base and increasing
revenue. Will work alongside existing advisors, and will identify/foster relationships with prospective
clients as well as centers of influence (attorneys/CPAs/board affiliates/etc.). Success will be measured by
new assets brought in to the firm. The BDO will also source potential merger and acquisition opportunities.
Manage/maintain/grow relationships with prospective clients/referral sources with very little direction
Work with existing team to continuously improve the client experience
Bring big ideas to the team and be willing to try new things
Continually learn about the industry and use that knowledge to help craft strategic goals
Gather/analyze/report on growth metrics
Proven track record of business development with numbers to back it up
Series 65 and/or Series 66
Certified Financial Professional (CFP) desired
Computer skills (will track activities in CRM)
