Description:
Independent fee-based boutique investment consulting firm providing
personalized service to institutional clients (primarily
endowments/foundations) seeks an individual who wants to work in a small
firm environment to become part of their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Account Analyst will reconcile custodian statements for all client
accounts, monitor possession and control of client assets and collaborate
with management to identify any special circumstances regarding
transactions.

Reconciliation:
The Account Analyst shall have the primary responsibility for reconciling
all client accounts. This responsibility shall include:

Balance monthly performance measurement system with custodian statements.
Perform data collection of statements held at various custodians.
Research and provide resolutions for reconciliation issues.
Maintain orderly and readily obtainable records for research and examination
purposes.
Create and maintain appropriate job procedures.
Maintain Client List with changes from monthly reconciliation.
Input data into Morningstar.
Serve as back-up in cross-functional responsibilities such as quarterly
report preparation and
office administration.
Prepare exhibits for special projects.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Intermediate concepts, practices and procedures of the securities industry
and/or financial
products.
Familiarity with investment transactions, i.e. dividends, splits, mergers,
cost basis, etc.
Ability to analyze custodian transactions.
Ability to operate standard office equipment and general computer
proficiency.
Well versed in Microsoft Office (emphasis on Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and
other software
applications as needed.
Preferable experience with Morningstar.
Demonstrate numerical aptitude and use critical thinking when solving
problems.
Ability to work independently with attention to detail as well as
collaboratively within a team
environment.
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Experience with Schwab systems such as Junxure or PortfolioCenter is a plus.
