Description:
Compensation commensurate with experience

Firm providing fee-based investment portfolio management to high net worth
and institutional clients seeks Client Services Administrator who will
provide client servicing, cash and gift transfers, compliance monitoring,
preparation of meeting material and reporting, trade input, and opening new
accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Take calls directly from clients/accountants/lawyers/banks/brokerages to
resolve/provide follow-up on all non-investment matters
Assist portfolio managers with: telephone coverage, written
communications/reports, account restriction/guideline monitoring, trade
allocation program prep, periodic commentary preparation/distribution,
maintenance of accurate client records
Audit daily account cash/trade activity, identify errors and reconcile
discrepancies
Open new client accounts and administer asset transfers
Ensure cross training and familiarity with accounts of team members to
provide back-up capabilities

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Finance/Accounting/related field preferred
3-5 years experience in portfolio administration particularly servicing
individual accounts for an investment firm or in a trust department
2-3 years experience working with high net-worth clients including preparing
client meeting books, pitch books, presentations
Prior experience working with individual clients and strong working
knowledge of account types (i.e. trusts, retirement accounts); and
experience with performance, guidelines, and account restrictions as well as
operations/back-office
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
2-3 years experience with Advent (or similar investment accounting system)
Experience with brokerage/custodian platform (Charles Schwab or similar)
Experience with CRM (Salesforce strongly preferred)
Experience with Longview, Moxy or similar trade system
Must have a good working knowledge of financial markets, investment vehicles
and strategies
Individual must possess strong analytical skills, possess the ability to
"think outside of the box" to develop creative solutions to issues as they
arise
Proactive, a self-starter and must possess the ability to juggle multiple
tasks, work independently, organize/prioritize workflow, meet deadlines and
communicate effectively/constructively within a team, the department and the
firm, as well as possess strong detail orientation
