Financial Advisory Principal (1207-2)

Houston, TX (Galleria area) (Relocation Assistance

Fee-based Registered Investment Advisor seeks Financial Advisory Principal
to provide comprehensive financial planning/investment advice, working
directly with high net worth individuals/families and their advisers.

Independently design, communicate and implement comprehensive/customized
solutions that meet client needs within company guidelines.
Discuss issues and opportunities for review, focusing on goals analysis,
estate planning, education/college savings planning, tax issues, insurance
planning, social security, and executive compensation
Prepare for meetings with clients; deliver plans in clear/concise manner;
meeting follow-up
Regular monitoring and reallocation within portfolios as needed
Focus on client service with responsiveness, tact and proactive, regular
written/verbal client contact
Work in close collaboration with Investment Managers, Shareholders/Partners,
and outside professionals in implementation of financial plans
Exercise judgment/tact/diplomacy when dealing with clients, other
executives, and management
Collaborate with internal team members; exchange information/resources to
meet shared objectives

Bachelors degree in Business/Finance/Accounting and/or Economics or
equivalent experience
Advanced degree/designations (CPA, CFP, CFA, JD, MBA) or
learning/qualifications gained through work experience strongly desired
5-10 years of experience in wealth planning, working with high net worth
FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 or Series 65 (Must either have or be able to

lead client relationships/conversations, anticipate potential client issues,

alternatives, make sound recommendations while mitigating risk, problem-
solve, take responsibility, demonstrate personal integrity/honesty, and deal
with confidential information daily
Strong knowledge of wealth transfer planning, taxation, estate planning
solutions, wealth management products and services, legal/regulatory
requirements, latest technology and standard office programs/networks
