Description:
SUMMARY:
Wealth Management firm seeks senior-level operations professional
comfortable wearing many hats. The scope of the role will range from
managing day-to-day operations processes to change management, as the firm
is mid-conversion on one large-scale project (system conversion from Axys to
Black Diamond) and looking to increase efficiencies firm-wide. The ideal
candidate will be equally capable of assessing big picture needs as well as
analyzing "in the weeds" workflow processes, then able to build out
operational capabilities accordingly. Reports to the COO.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day-to-day activities of 4-5 direct reports in portfolio
administration/operations (processing new accounts/account transfers with
custodians; beneficiary changes; new contributions/redemptions; cash
transfer requests; custodian question/issue follow-up; tracking IRA RMDs for
Financial Advisors; monthly summary to Executive Committee of AUM; tax prep
liaison with client CPA firms)
Develop/maintain written procedures of all back-office functions
Manage alternative investment transactions/valuations/reporting
Prepare accurate and timely performance reporting for
monthly/quarterly/annual reporting and billing purposes
Provide monthly/quarterly financial reporting to Executive Committee Data
maintenance in CRM and portfolio management system

REQUIREMENTS:
A bachelor’s degree is required along with a minimum of 7 years’ relevant
experience
Prior experience with/strong knowledge of RIA back-office functions
(performance reporting/account opening/regulatory issues) required; senior-
level/management experience preferred
Prior experience with illiquid/alternative investment (private equity/real
estate) performance reporting required
Experience with Advent Axys required; experience with Black Diamond
preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience working on multiple custodian platforms preferred; Schwab/TD
Ameritrade/RBC-specific experience is a plus
Strong analytical, verbal/written/presentation/interpersonal communication
skills
Ability to manage/mentor/develop a staff, collaborate with peers and handle
multiple tasks within tight time frames
Excellent attitude; extraordinary client service orientation; strong detail
orientation/organizational/time management skills
Must desire working in a rapid, changing, highly collaborate environment
