Director of Maintenance/Operations (42690-307)

Dates: Start ASAP (10 to 12-week contract)

Full service commercial real estate firm seeks Director of Maintenance/Operations for 10-12 week contract
role. Will ensure efficient operation/optimal maintenance performance for clientís real estate properties
through supervision of functional areas (back of the house, grounds, etc.) and by providing
leadership/direction to key personnel.

Anticipate maintenance and staffing needs for sites to mitigate risk to property owners and organization
Provide clients, owners, tenants and co-workers with highest level of client service available
Review resumes and work with HR to interview potential candidates for job openings
Review PTO for maintenance technicians
Schedule monthly group meetings with maintenance techs to review relevant topics, safety training,
company updates and general policy review
Attend owner meetings and calls along with other key personnel
Conduct monthly audits of work order system to ensure work orders are managed timely and PM schedules
are being adhered to per building standard
Attend Action Agenda meetings with Director of Property Management and participate in discussion
Prepare site tour calendar ensuring all sites are visited at minimum twice a year for full operations audit
Conduct site visits; schedule with Property Manager and request appropriate open items list for follow up
Tour site with technicians to ensure building is being maintained to appropriate standards
Work directly with HR and Director of Property Management to review staffing needs and profitability

10+ years property and facilities operational management experience; experienced supervisor
Bachelorís degree desired
Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word experience
Excellent interpersonal skills
