Title:
Director of Brokerage Operations (1216-2)

Location:
Midwestern U.S.

Description:
Oversee day to day work of a Brokerage Operations team (~40 domestic, ~30
offshore), ensuring guidelines/requirements are achieved, key metrics are
exceeded, and that the team works collaboratively to create a strong service
experience while developing professionally. Must bring a solid understanding
of the financial services industry, and significant team management
experience including the ability to identify/hire/grow talent.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversight of multiple processing teams, managing department managers as well
as direct employees
Interface with executives to align operations delivery with strategic
goals/objectives
Ensure that processing delivery meets/exceeds stated service level
agreements; provide strong service experience for customers, in compliance
with company/regulatory requirements
Liaison for Pershing relationship/escalated issue resolution/proactive
customer service; develop/plan future strategies for customer
service/process improvement initiatives, including implementation of new
technologies
Develop/implement/direct strategic and departmental initiatives/projects
Oversight of installation/ongoing management of processes/procedures systems
from business user perspective
Execute all designated operations supervisory oversight responsibilities
including review/sign-off on procedures, daily/weekly/monthly control
activities and audit support
Select/train/motivate staff; establish team and individual employee
performance goals; administer companyís compensation plans

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelorís degree and FINRA Series 7 and Series 24
8-10+ years of total experience with 5+ years in management capacity
Off-shore team leadership experience a plus, but not required
Strong knowledge of broker dealer/clearing/financial services industry,
including operational processes and regulatory policies/procedures
5+ years of Pershing clearing/execution experience required; Docupace and
Salesforce experience preferred
Attention to detail; excellent organizational skills; ability to multi-task
and produce timely results in a fast-paced work environment; strong
leadership/team development skills (engagement/morale/training/process
improvement/implementations/influence leadership); open-minded decision
maker that earns the respect/trust/confidence of
executives/peers/clients/team; strong process redesign skills; strong
oral/written communication skills
